While the program takes place at the City Football Academy where the Club’s professional teams train, and is designed to give players an authentic insight into the world of professional football, we cannot guarantee that our players will meet any professionals during their program or be scouted for professional teams.

Each evening, City Football Performance Program players will team up with players participating in our sister program, City Football Language School, for evening activities at the residence.  Activities vary from night to night, such as movie nights, sports nights and BBQs.

Valuables such as passports, cash and mobile phones can be safely locked away at the Residence by the Centre Manager. Should players wish to access their valuables at any point, the Centre Manager will be able to assist.

Breakfast includes continental breakfast and hot options.

A healthy lunch is provided each day at Connell College, with good variety and portion sizes. On weekends, players are provided with a balanced packed lunch.

Dinners always include 2 courses and a balanced variety of meat, vegetables and fruit.

Dietary needs, vegetarian and Halal options are available on request; specific dietary requirements may incur a supplementary charge.

All players should arrive on a Sunday by 16:00, ready to start the program on Sunday evening. There will be no compensation due for late arrivals and/or missed lessons, activities and excursions missed as a result of not arriving on a scheduled arrival date.

For airport transfers, British Study Centres reserves the right to charge a supplement for any player or group arriving outside the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 on arrival day, and departing outside the hours of 10:00 and 19:00 on departure day. The supplement for out-of-hours transfers would be £25 one way, £50 return.

It is not a requirement that your child plays for a football club or school football team in order to join the program; however it is an intensive program and we recommend that players attending the course are committed to improving and are prepared to work hard.

Registration fee: There is a £75 registration fee to cover administration costs.

Airport transfer: There is an airport transfer service to and from Manchester airport for £95 return.  If players are arriving by plane they must have an airport transfer. This can be arranged after the booking has been processed. If you are arriving to and from a different airport please let us know and we will provide a transfer quote.

Unaccompanied minors: for players travelling as an unaccompanied minor (UM) with airlines, there will be a charge of £65. This will ensure there is a named person to meet, greet and sign for UM players. Please note, this £65 charge is separate to any UM charges from the airline.

Damage deposit: Please note, a damage deposit of £40 will be required to cover any damage cost if necessary, to be handed to staff in cash on arrival. The deposit will be returned to your child on their last day providing no damage has been made.

Additional Friday night accommodation: Players can stay at the residence on the final Friday night for £135, including full-board meals and the Saturday excursion, subject to Saturday departure time. Please ask us if you cannot find a suitable return flight on Saturday evening and will not be able to attend the excursion.

Pocket money: You may wish to provide your child with pocket money to spend on souvenirs etc. during excursions. Following the Etihad Stadium Tour, players will have opportunity to visit the CityStore, where there will be a wide range of official Manchester City merchandise available to purchase with an exclusive 10% discount available.
